Thanks to All Who Made It Down to the 'Tonic' Last Weekend!! It was a Kick. If You Missed It, You Really Missed Out! The Show was Great, All the Bands Rocked. We went on Last (I Hate Playing Last) and had Our Work cut Out for Us, thanks to 'Susie Blue'. This was Their 'Last Show' and They 'Did It Proper'!! 'Susie' and the 'Boys' played like 'They Hadn't Eaten for Weeks', and the Stage was Their 'Main Course'!! I've Been to Quite a few 'Susie Blue' shows, but this one Really Stood Out. I am Glad to Say that "I Was There"....

We'll be at the 'Tonic Lounge' (NE 30th & Sandy) as part of the 'Girly Show' (or 'Chicks' with 'Licks')!! We'll be Playing With 'Susie Blue', Watsonville Patio', and 'Sophe Lux' (No Pun Intended!). 'Rumor' has it, that this could be Susie's Last Show with the Original Line-up! If You Haven't Seen Them Yet, You'd Better 'Do It Now'....'Good Times'.......

It's a 'Block Party' Everybody!! All Ages and a Parking Lot, Whoo-Hoo! We'll be at the 'Division / Clinton St. Fair', Ready to 'Rock' (In more ways than one!). It's All Gonna' be Happenin' at 'SE 21st & Division' from 2 - 9 PM, with Food, Beverages, and 'Live Music'!! We'll be playing with the 'Booyah Boys' and 'Slow Roller'. 'BETTIE FORD' goes on at 6:00 PM!! Come on Down to 'Eat, Drink, and Be Merry'......

It's 'Lincoln City' Time Again...That's Right, the 'Kodiak', Peanut Shells, 'Captain Rock', 'UsedWares', and 'Good Times'!! JUNE 2, 2004 – Specialist Carlos Arellano was on patrol in Baghdad’s Green Zone on April 23 when he discovered a pot plant growing innocently on the street. He asked one of his fellow soldiers to snap a photo of him kneeling next to the plant. The photo was forwarded to High Times’ Grow America by a friend of Arellano’s via email.

“I was stunned by the photo,” says editor-in-chief Steve Bloom. “I immediately called Carlos’s friend and started to make arrangements to publish it.”

Bloom quickly learned that Arellano was not only a soldier, but he was also a rapper named “Singe,” who’s first CD, The Epidemic, was released on StashBox Records several months before Arellano, in the Army Reserves, was called up to active duty and sent to Iraq.

“Coded in the photo was a message that we couldn’t ignore,” Bloom says. “While Carlos is a hero defending his country in Iraq, when he comes home and smokes a joint, he’ll be a criminal.”

In an email, Arellano explained that he “stumbled upon [the plant] by accident… I saw this beauty waving in the wind from the corner of my eye. Me being who I am, I had to take a photo and send it back to the crew.”

This is in response to Marc's previous post (Adios...Douchebags). Since the Fortunate departure of that 'Jackass' Marconi, KNRK has been trying to save face. They have left it up to the Listeners to help 'Right the Ship'! Finally, somebody is letting the Listeners speak (No Offense 'Clear Channel')!

PORTLAND - The radio station KNRK at 94.7 FM is issuing an apology to its listeners after talk show hosts Marconi, Tiny and sidekick Nickie J. laughed at and ridiculed the beheading of American Nick Berg.
The three were fired Thursday afternoon, after airing the audio recording of Berg's murder repeatedly on Wednesday and laughing at the incident.

"Disgusting… I'm speechless," said one woman.
